Orientation in the Venue

Navilens

During the Tactile Reading conference at the Muziekgebouw, we are using NaviLens to make navigation easier and more inclusive for everyone.

What is NaviLens?

NaviLens is a smart signage system that works with your smartphone. It uses special colorful QR-style codes that can be scanned from a distance – no need to focus your camera! Just point your phone in any direction, and the app will read out what’s nearby: rooms, toilets, the info desk, and more. You’ll even get extra context about what's happening in certain areas.

dd of time. The app is compatible with screen readers. It also offers the opportunity to change the font size and choose a high contrast if you want or need this. You can do this by going to 'My Profilie' after you have installed the app.

It’s fast, hands-free, and helpful for confident, independent movement.
